We are living in some strange times right now, and while most of us are quite happy spending the extra time at home with our families, not being allowed out has made us want to venture outside more than ever.
While it’s tempting to get off to the park and have a picnic it’s still important to stay at home and follow the Department of Health’s advice to stay home. You can see the latest advice on their website.
While much of our team are working remotely, supporting our clients is still our top priority. From guiding our clients through the design stage all the way to offering support post project handover, and that support isn’t always on site.

Support from afar
We offer a remote support service that not only puts our clients at ease, but us too.
All of the projects we complete include hardware with built in remote support software. This gives us the ability to know of an issue and resolve it quickly, often before our client has even noticed. Sometimes technical issues can occur at the worst possible moment – you could be in the middle of watching a big sporting event, hosting a house party or settling down with the family for a cosy movie night. There’s never a good time for these things to happen!
Our remote support system enables us to resolve any issues with your software from our office without you having to call for an engineer to visit your property. Not only that but we can even run power-cycling on devices, pushing new firmware releases and monitoring internet outages and more! As you can imagine, in times of lockdown this is an essential service.
On occasion a device may need a simple reboot to solve some basic issues. Usually this happens at the most inopportune moments, late at night or early morning – sometimes it’s not convenient to make a call to our support team. To combat this, we offer a user-friendly mobile application that allows you to resolve these small issues or manage certain elements of your home network.
From the app you will be able to remotely reboot your devices, monitor your WiFi devices and even set up parental control features. If you need to disable the WiFi on a particular device, such as your children’s’ iPads – you’re only a couple of taps from being the least popular person in the house.
